It’s time to awaken the Go-Getter in you. It’s time to stop stressing and complaining about your expenses and dwelling over what you don’t have. It’s time to do something positive about it. Your current financial status doesn’t matter for YOU hold the key to changing your finances. The Urban Dictionary defines GO-GETTA as someone who goes after what he/she wants and doesn’t stop for anything. The Conscious Spender definition of a Go-Getter is one who goes after and creates opportunities. This makes ONE financially successful!
Here’s how you can accomplish it!

*Second, LEARN everything possible from your current employer.
*Third, if you are a business owner or seek to start your own business DEVELOP meaningful relationships in the industry. Find a business mentor!
You may be wondering, what do these things have to do with money? That’s a great question, I’m glad you asked! 🙂 By being the best, you can increase your money making potential and your net worth for years to come. Now, that advice adds up to more money in your pocket!
What did I say before, DON’T complain do Something about your current situation! Have you looked into a secondary degree or a certification program? What talents do you possess? How are you enhancing them? What skills can you obtain that can increase your NET WORTH?
Here are two of my readers’ stories:
A telemarketer turned teacher, who went on to attain her Masters in Education degree. This young lady decided that she was not making enough at her job, not using all of her talents, so she decided to become a substitute teacher. After doing her VERY best, she was offered and accepted a position as a full-time teacher; this meant she sacrificed some of her free time and continued her telemarketing job. This still wasn’t enough, she went back to school to get her Masters degree and she is now in the process of becoming a college professor. Cheers to her for being a Go-Getter!
Another reader decided she wanted to create a Discretionary Income account. She accepted part-time or seasonal employment to generate funds outside of her regular income. She’s held positions as a security guard, product promotions employee, and summer camp worker, as her side money gigs. Okay, she didn’t only do side jobs. She invested in herself through self and professional development. She took grant writing and Spanish classes at her local community center and then furthered her education by enrolling in Graduate School. All of these things are assets that will increase her salary and net worth for years to come. Cheers to her for being a Go-Getter!
Now that I have given you things to think about and stories of everyday people, write your own Go-Getter story. I am looking forward to hearing your story soon!
Increasing your net worth,
